From Humble Beginnings…
In 1985, Hup Fatt began selling fresh, quality meat from a small outlet in Campsie. A few years on, they opened a second butcher shop in Merrylands, which is still open today. With increasing sales, a first factory was opened as Hup Fatt expanded into wholesale and meat processing supply.
The business continued to grow and a second factory was commissioned to service butchers, restaurants, hotels and clubs, and the food service industry.
Today, these two specialised factories offer multi species boning rooms including dedicated Chinese butchering, supplying fresh, processed, chilled and frozen meats.
From humble beginnings, this family owned and operated business has continued to grow over the past three decades, to become a major Australian meat wholesaler.
